First Aid at Work Qualifcations
PTDQ Emergency First Aid at Work
Course is 6 hours for additional duration we offer the AED certificate for free.
This course is Ofqual RCF Level 3 equivalent, please note we are independent regulators of qualifications and course so do not need Ofqual recognition. As a result we have flexible and friendly assessment methods that our customers and centres prefer.
This Regulated Qualification is ideal for anyone wishing to become an emergency first aider. This provides learners with skills and knowledge to deal with first aid situations in low risk workplace environments for the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
The first unit of this qualification is the unit one of the First Aid at Work and learners may take this in a 10 week time frame after completing this qualification.
PTDQ First Aid at Work (New)
For new learner’s or expired certificate learners the course is 18 hours for additional duration we offer the AED certificate for free. Valid for 3 Years from Issue. FAW New courses are face to face, prior achievement can be considered.

PTDQ Emergency Paediatric First Aid
6 Hours course.

This regulated first aid qualification is specific to infants aged under 1, and children aged from 1 year old to the onset of puberty. If is ideal for parents and babysitters.
This qualification is the first day and unit of the Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid. This latter qualification meets the requirements of the statutory framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) as issued by the department for Education and Skills Foundation Stage relating to Early Years childcare.
The Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid is those who are working with children and infants. It will be of interest to teachers, child minders, crèche assistants, playgroup personnel and anyone else who has a responsibility for their welfare whilst in your care. This qualification is a fantastic introduction into emergency paediatric first aid. You will be gaining knowledge and competence to administer emergency paediatric first.

PTDQ Competent AED User
Up to 4 Hours training.
This qualification is recommended as training for first aiders in the workplace environment who have access to a defibrillator (AED).

The Guided Learning hours are 2 to 3
To enable any individual to recognise and treat Anaphylaxis, safely and effectively. This includes being trained as competent to deliver medication for Anaphylaxis conditions.
